As part-time Co-Founder and CTO, I lead infrastructure architecture and technical direction for LA3NITY products, including the live D’ La Isla platform.

Challenge
Operate a live product while preserving security, reliability, and direct control in a self-hosted bare-metal environment.
Process
Designed and implemented the Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS and Kubernetes platform, Cloudflare proxying and WAF, Firewalla network controls, Nginx reverse proxy to Apache HTTP Server, manual deployment workflow, and UptimeRobot availability monitoring.
Result
A live self-hosted production platform with direct ownership of infrastructure design, security controls, deployments, and day-to-day operation.
